DALS

1. Green Gram Dal




Ingredients


  To pressure cook
  • Castor Oil
  • Green gram - 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric - 1/4 t spoon
  • Water - 3 cups
  To fry n grind
  • Oil
  • Chopped Small Onions - 10
  • Green Chilli - 4
  • Cumin - 1 t spoon
  • Curry Leaves - 2 stem
  • Coriander leaves - 4 stem

Method

  1. Pressure cook the items given by allowing it for 4 Visils. Filter the water and use it for preparing Rasam.
  2. Fry the ingridents in the same order once oil is heated .
  3. Then grind the fried materials along with the pressure cooked materials (after filtering water) and take off when the consistency is suitable for u to serve.

2. Kollu Parupu


Ingredients


  To pressure cook
  • Castor Oil
  • Horse Gram - 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric - 1/4 t spoon
  • Water - 3 cups
 To fry n grind
  • Oil
  • Chopped Small Onions - 10
  • Green / dry Chilli - 4
  • Cumin - 1 t spoon
  • Coriander leaves - 4 stem / coriander seeds - 1 1/2 t spoon
  • Garlic - 2 pods
  • Curry Leaves - 2 stem

Method

  1. Pressure cook the items given by allowing it for 4 Visils. Filter the water and use it for preparing Rasam.
  2. Fry the ingridents in the same order once oil is heated .
  3. Then grind the fried materials along with the pressure cooked materials (after filtering water) and take off when the consistency is suitable for u to serve.

3.Toor Dal




Ingredients


  To pressure cook
  • Castor Oil
  • Toor Dal - 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric - 1/4 t spoon
  • Small onion - 10
  • Curry leaves - 2 stems
  • Water - 3 cups
 To fry 
  • Oil
  • Mustard - 1/2 t spoon
  • Chopped Small Onions - 10
  • Green Chilli - 2
  • Curry Leaves - 2 stem
  • Mashed Cumin - 1/2 t spoon
  • Mashed Garlic - 2 pods

Method

  1. Pressure cook the items given by allowing it for 4 Visils. Filter the water and use it for preparing Rasam and smash the left over according to the consistency u need.
  2. Fry the ingridents in the same order once oil is heated .
  3. Then add the fried materials to the pressure cooked smashed materials (after filtering water) and serve .

4.Thatai parupu

Ingredients


  To pressure cook
  • Castor Oil
  • Thatai parupu - 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric - 1/4 t spoon
  • Small onion - 10
  • Curry leaves - 2 stems
  • Water - 3 cups
To fry 
  • Oil
  • Mustard - 1/2 t spoon
  • Chopped Small Onions - 10
  • Green Chilli - 2
  • Curry Leaves - 2 stem
  • Mashed Cumin - 1/2 t spoon
  • Mashed Garlic - 2 pods
