Ingredients
Jaggery preparation
- Powdered Jaggery – ½ cup
- Water – ¼ cup
To pressure cook
- Raw rice – ½ cup
- Water – 1 ½ cup
- Jaggery extract
To season
- Ghee
- Cashew nuts – 10 pods
- Dry grapes – 10
- Ellachi powder – 1/4 t spoon
Method
- Mix the powdered jaggery in water and allow it to boil once and filter it and keep aside.
- Then pressure cook the raw rice and water by allowing 3 visils.
- To the pressure cooked rice add the jaggery extract and again leave a visil in pressure cooker.
- Finally season with the items given by sauting it with the ghee.
